An Uncaged Review for 'Uncage Yourself'

This book could not have come into my hands at a better time when I was looking to make some changes in my habits with changing season. The perfect time a self-help book can resonate with you is when you are absorbing the information with an open mind and non-cynical approach. Therefore reading this book was an insightful experience for me, and I want to share the reason with you in this blog post. 14 Books that Obey the Philosophy of "The Secret" by Rhonda Byrne

Internationally popular, 'The Secret by Rhonda Byrne has been a popular choice, with its uncovering power of manifestation for the general audience and the masses but, Byrne is not the first to talk about it.  Manifestation or the Law of Attraction is now a well-known concept, but it's less than 200 years old in philosophy. It states that all wishes and positive and negative wants become realised if we manifest them to the universe.  How does Manifestation Work? Manifestation might now only be a term popular in people's Twitter bio, but it is an ancient practice used by many over the years to gain massive opportunities and success. The philosophy or scene behind the power of manifestation claims that we are all made up of energies. When we yearn for any event or object we project that energy into the universe to attract that in our life.  To attract the focus of our desire we only need to imagine, talk or think about it to the fullest extent. if it is th...

The Maid by Nita Prose : Book Review

My first murder mystery of the year and it doesn't disappoint. The Maid tells the story of, molly the maid, working at The regency grand hotel, who is falsely arrested for a suspected murder, and how she with the help of few trust worthy people removes the blame from her head.  After familiarising with the writer, and understanding that she has worked in editing, my expectation sky rocketed. In the beginning the books felt really monotonous, but soon I grew into the writing style. The characters, especially Molly the maid, are very well written. The switch in between the characters gets better as you continue reading.  The book doesn't have unnecessary details, so it doesn't get boring at any point. My problem with most of the books is the slow pace, but The maid DOES not disappoint in the arena.  The intricate detailing, the build up, the reveal, the blind side action, everything made this very different from other books.  Not going to lie, in the beginn...
