Deep Water Review.... but it's only my reaction.

Do you ever see an horror movie and think, "oh my go" I hacebto show this to my friend. But then you worry that they might not have the same reaction to this as you did.

Well that's is how I feel at least. I think there are ao many thoughts that go through my mind everytime I watch a movie. Especially with horror movie, where I try to solve the problem before it is revealed.

Well, I thibk Deep Water (2022) was  one such movie, that made me want to share my reaction with all my friends. So here it is...

Deep Water review, but it is just my reaction to each scene.

Spoiler Alert: it's a reaction video so it has spoilers

  • The sound in the prime credits had me taking notes, cuz I knew it was going tobe a fun ride.
  • I know the movie is a thriller, and the lady is playing the part very well, of course.
  • So she is a narcessitsing swinger, and he is a psychopathic killer? So they are both having fun out of this ordeal.
  • Oh wow, she is ruthless.
  • I LOVE THE SNAIL, I HOPE THEY ARE USED FOR WHAT I THINK THEY ARE USED FOR. WOW
  • Oh! he was joking! :(
  • I feel Awful for Vic. :(
  • So he does dance, but not with her.
  • Oh wow you are one to be jealous?
  • At least she likes her child.
  • Oh my god there's another guy? Already?
  • Oh hi jacob.
  • AWWWWW, they got a puppy, they better not kill him.
  • Okay the vase scene was so good.
  • What's with the snails….
  • What is this relationship dynamic? What? Why is she like that? Why is he like that? Get rid of each other.
  • Oh, I had to learn piano too, where are my notes?
  • Theory one: Okay, working theory, she killed the first guy, whose name I forgot, because he was getting serious and she doest like to take things seriously with her affairs, because she does it only to make him jealous.
  • Okay, she clearly cares about him.
  • HOLY FUCK, he’s dead.
  • Oh my god, f**k jump scare.
  • I mean we know who the prime suspect will be.
  • “Hit over the head and killed him” oh oh…
  • 2 out of 3 of wifes lovers are dead, man, who wouldn't accuse Vic of murder.
  • So he did kill him? Or this a dream sequence?
  • Do lie detectors work on psychopaths? Their heart beat would be very steady, I assume while lying.
  • Oh so the new guy is ex…
  • Oh he is definitely using snails for his murder spree.
  • Maybe the writer is confusing us… maybe it's a trap to think he did it.
  • Too much focus on her legs, what's up with that?
  • Oh oh, don't get into the jeep…
  • Oh no! Anything better not happen to the dog… Why does he have snails??? SOMETHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN
  • NOT THE STONE!!!
  • Ouch! That must've hurt. Well the puppy is safe.
  • Of course move the body. (Eye roll) haven't you seen any crime drama?
  • Champaign to the child?????
  • Why are sex scenes getting so realistic? Because that is some method acting.
  • Gasp! She found out!?
  • What is he waiting for? The body to dissolve?
  • OH shit! The nosy neighbour.
  • Oh my heart. The suspense is so palpable.
  • Even the kid is crazy. Lol.
  • HAHAHA boomer humour.
  • GASP!!!!!!
  • 10/10 for cinematography.
  • Wait what? The end? What happened next? Does she know? Did he kill the other guys? I guess he did. Oh man! Now i gotta google, “Deep Waters Ending Explained”
  • Wait, is there a book?
  • Oh there is!!! Yay!

The French Dispatch: Review

When I was in my fourth semester of graduation, the teacher gave us the assignment to write the script for one scene from our favourite movie. I chose a movie that I have never seen before but had downloaded on my laptop for about 7 months. That movie was ‘ The Grand Budapest Hotel' by Wes Anderson. And ever since I have been a great fan of the artistic style of Mr Anderson. The static frames of each scene gave me so much joy that I started making notes of all the scenes.  Since the start of my active involvement in reviewing movies (and books), I have been excited about one such movie. The French Dispatch.  Now if you have the slightest and mildest of interest in watching movies, that is source material for the study of cinematography, direction, art style with a hint of social commentary then you must have come across at least a few Wes Anderson recommendations that have popped up in your feed. And today, I present to you the greatest and the l...
