Sleep on it, before any decision you make

In the last three years, I have had to make so many decisions on my own, from choosing my major, the college I wanted to go to, the job, and many, many other adult decisions. Many people have walked the same path, some time in their life at some point. So many choices and decisions that can change the course of your life. From choosing the wrong major in college to deciding when to move out of your parents house, all these decisions can flip the plot of life  from good to great or to worst.  When making so many decisions and having even more options and opportunities, it has dried up for us to compute all the data that we receive. I have experienced my brain malfunctioning and lagging, even with making the smallest decisions.  For example, until that day, I have hard time deciding what drink I wanted for my lunch, so I always let my friend order for me. Not because I can't make small decisions, but I trust my buddy for her excellent taste of choice and soda and lemonade b...

Deep Water Review.... but it's only my reaction.

Do you ever see an horror movie and think, "oh my go" I hacebto show this to my friend. But then you worry that they might not have the same reaction to this as you did.  Well that's is how I feel at least. I think there are ao many thoughts that go through my mind everytime I watch a movie. Especially with horror movie, where I try to solve the problem before it is revealed. Well, I thibk Deep Water (2022) was  one such movie, that made me want to share my reaction with all my friends. So here it is... Deep Water review, but it is just my reaction to each scene.  Spoiler Alert: it's a reaction video so it has spoilers The sound in the prime credits had me taking notes, cuz I knew it was going tobe a fun ride. I know the movie is a thriller, and the lady is playing the part very well, of course.  So she is a narcessitsing swinger, and he is a psychopathic killer? So they are both having fun out of this ordeal.  Oh wow, she is ruthless.  I LOVE T...

The Maid by Nita Prose : Book Review

My first murder mystery of the year and it doesn't disappoint. The Maid tells the story of, molly the maid, working at The regency grand hotel, who is falsely arrested for a suspected murder, and how she with the help of few trust worthy people removes the blame from her head.  After familiarising with the writer, and understanding that she has worked in editing, my expectation sky rocketed. In the beginning the books felt really monotonous, but soon I grew into the writing style. The characters, especially Molly the maid, are very well written. The switch in between the characters gets better as you continue reading.  The book doesn't have unnecessary details, so it doesn't get boring at any point. My problem with most of the books is the slow pace, but The maid DOES not disappoint in the arena.  The intricate detailing, the build up, the reveal, the blind side action, everything made this very different from other books.  Not going to lie, in the beginn...

How to embrace Dolce Far Niente: The art of doing nothing.

We have all seen that reel, we have heard that audio multiple times on our Instagram feed, supposedly everybody wants to embrace the art of doing nothing or as the Italians call it Dolce Far Niente.  The truth is we don't know how to do that, we don't know how to not do anything.  What is Dolce Far Niente? Dolce Far Niente Italian verb which means the sweetness of doing nothing (according to the Instagram audio) literally translating to pleasant idleness. It means to relax, enjoy and be free of all responsibilities, negative emotions, burdens and liabilities. When I think of Dolce Far Niente, I picture my room with the sunlight coming through the window, relaxing on the bed with the book in my hand.  I asked some of my friends. Most of them imagine similar things, relaxing in their house without worrying about work or school.  Some people think Dolce Far Niente can be impressed on exotic vacation without worrying about things too.  And they are all r...
