Interviews on paper | New trend in the print industry?

Books and novels have not been limited to reading anymore. although the idea is not a groundbreaking inventory of the digital age, you can also enjoy a book in audio format with more access than ever before, the same goes for the vice versa.

Interviews and radio shows, which were were an auditory medium have now collided with print media to produce an all-new genre of books where the story is narrated in the format of interview and radio program scripts.

The inspiration behind this blog write-up comes from Sadie by Courtney Summers, which I finished a couple of days before. It was a fanatic book with a compelling story of murder, mystery, revenge, and crime told in the most engaging non-linear narrative.

It follows a parallel narrative between Sadie, a girl gone missing to seek revenge for the murder of her sister, and a radio program that investigates the disappearance of Sadie.

Why this format is better?

Now there are a lot of reasons this narrative fashion of writing works. The first of many reasons is its faster reading accessibility. With this you don't have to focus on the details, there is less description of the surroundings and other details that stretches from the story to create a visual effect since it is mostly a studio interview or a phone call.

The second reason is its writing style is friendly for a new reader. For someone new to reading, a book in this style are perfect was to dive into the shallow end of the pool before deep-diving into the bottomless ocean of the literal world

The third reason is its easy conversion style. The audiobook industry is large and expanding, so these books have more creative and production value than other novels. These books best work in that format because the narration is less monotonous.

This is the reason for its higher reach to a greater audience, adding to the sales of books overall.

Book Suggestions:

After finishing the book, I could only think about more books to seek in the same writing style, only to find one on my own shelf.

Daisy Jones And The Six

Historical fiction novel that is written in a memoir-style Daisy Jones and the six is the fictional deal about a band in the 70s that came together to give the greatest hits of the generation. When I first read it I was immediately captivated by the writing style.  Taylor Jenkins Reid has mastered this format.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

When I say that she has mastered this format I genuinely mean it because the next I combination also has one of the greatest hits on the booktok of the year 2021, called the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo.

This book published in 2017 tells the story of Evelyn Hugo, Hollywood icon, love, life, glitz, and glamor of Hollywood and memoir of a star. The casting for the Hollywood movie for this book is in progress, and it's high time we see Evelyn on the big screen.

Love Is a Mix Tape: Life and Loss, One Song at a Time

author Rob Sheffield is a rock and pop music critic, and this is his memoir. the memories he talks of all his music experience, from finding muse, writing music the industry of the melody, but most importantly his life as a musician. this one is a mild book with strong writing, and the title is an absolutely great idea for a tattoo.

Rant

out of all the books on this list, I am most excited for this one because it's satire, dark comedy, psychological horror, and crime. rant by Chuck Palahniuk is about  Buster 'Rant' Casey, who uses the most unusual drug for his serial killing spree, namely rabid dog's saliva. Chuck Palahniuk is a journalist, who also wrote 'The Fight Club', so I have high expectations from this book.

PS: All these books would be best for an audiobook format, so even if you are not an avid reader you can still embark on the experience.

PS: I have added the follow button on the blog so you may get a notification on all the updates, so don't forget to hit that.

If I could live somewhere: That is Home.

If you could live anywhere, on this big blue planet, where would it be? Would it be near the beach, where the sound of waves could be heard in between the conversations? or It would be in the city that never stops to catch a breath? Or in the middle of the forest with nature where everything prospers and thrives with greens and fragrant flowers bent by the weight of fat bumble bees?    My dream destination is away from all the habitation, it's me and the plants only. Some I grew with my own hand and some wild out of control, talking all the places they needed in the world. Making themselves known with their power and calm force.     It's a place where flowers grew wild and are not limited to the pots. They climb and twirl on the window sill. Can't be stopped. They don't care for the pattern they grew in. They want you to appreciate them for the art they create in their movement. They don't stop when hacked but grow faster from that experience. ...
